THE CLIENT

The BNZ Save the Kiwi Trust is a fully independent and registered charitable trust formed in partnership between one of New Zealand’s major financial institutions, the BNZ, and the Department of Conservation.

THE WORK

Big Fish has worked in partnership with the Blue Orb Charitable Trust to develop the main world wide resource for information about all things kiwi with a major focus on advocacy and education about kiwi recovery.  

This project has involved:
–  An extensive interactive content managed website
–  The Sniff animated Kiwi character(flash based animation stories)
–  A huge media gallery

Part of the brief was to create "Sniff", the trusts mascot, who could be utilised to interest a younger audience. With a strong following amongst children Sniff has already got a merchndising line of products behind him, and it's looking like Sniff will become a cultural icon for all things kiwi.
