The Injury Prevention Department at ACC Northland (Whangarei).
THE BRIEF
To work in collaboration with ACC Northland on a road safety campaign with the aim on lowering Northland road fatalities and accidents.
THE STRATEGYBig Fish developed the 'Brake' billboard campaign aimed at slowing people down at specific high crash risk areas. We used strong unforgettable imagery combined with a very clear simple headlines to help in getting the message through. Further impact was achieved by using on local people with real stories at real locations. The response to the billboards was extremely positive and ACC is currently assessing the impact of the 'Brake' message.
